TRPL Threat Teams Up with Naughty By Nature, Public Enemy, Onyx and More for New Sneaker Line

Hip Hop is synonymous around the world as a cultural movement that brings together every race, religion, and economic background. Since it’s birth in the late 1970’s it has spawn some of the most influential icon’s of our generation. Some Hip Hop enthusiasts say that the 90’s were the golden age with artists like The Notorious B.I.G, Naughty By Nature, Onyx, Brand Nubien, and Public Enemy all leading the way.

Turn on your radio today and if you’re lucky you’ll hear one of these songs and instantly be transported back in time when; house parties, 40 Oz. beers, and Ford Mustang 5.o’s were all the rage. A time when Naughty By Nature made you look for “O.P.P.”, The Notorious B.I.G. made you feel like a player, and Onyx made you want to Slam.

Now one visionary company named TRPL Threat Footwear, lead by C.E.O. Danny Shaw who teamed up with Kenyatta ‘Buckshot’ Blake – one third of the legendary Hip Hop group, Black Moon, and VinRock from Naughty By Nature, wants to take our love of Hip Hop even further with super limited ‘iCon branded’ sneakers. “The intention behind TRPL Threat footwear is to create a collection that is affordable, accessible and at the same time fashionable.” says TRPL Threat.

There’s no word an official release date but fans of; Naughty By Nature, Onyx, Brand Nubian, The GZA, Public Enemy, and Duck Down Music can get their pairs at The Solexchange National Sneaker Convention, August 27th & 28th, 2016 for $100 per pair.

Some of these legendary artists will also be at the convention signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Maybe they’ll even perform a few songs … only time will tell.
