The Nai Ke Air Force 1 is Getting a Chinese New Year Release
Just outside of the Chinese New year, Nike is takes its classic Air Force 1 and applies a of jade to the throwback. An hommage of sorts, the “Jade” Nai Ke Air Force 1 Low is a nod to the model’s 35th Anniversary, as the stone is a symbol of 35 years of marriage in Chinese culture.
The kicks are dressed in a premium white tumbled leather construction with hits of the green hue along the toe, ankle, tongue and on the AF1 lacelock. There’s a similar make up for women, with less jade detailing.
Expect the “Jade” Nai Ke Air Force 1 Low to release exclusively in China in mid-January, with a wider launch to follow.
