One of the most recognizable silhouette out of the Nike cap, the Nike Classic Cortez first hit store shelves in 1972 and changed the game. Along with its success as a runner, the Cortez got its fair share of popculture love, making appearences on both Sienfeld and Forest Gump.
Nike is bringing back the early 70’s classic in all its original glory. Housed on a herringbone patterned outsole, the Cortez features a white nylon construction with suede overlay along the toe and heel. Varsity red accents in the form of a red swoosh, and matching heel tab create a much appreciated pop of contrast. Further adding to the old school feel, the Classic Cortez comes equiped with Nike Windmill logo on the heel, ‘Athletics West” branding on the insole, and throwback Nike box.
You can find the Nike CLASSIC CORTEZ AW QS at participating retailers or in store at INVINCIBLE starting June 18.
