Kanye West Shows Off Time “Person of The Year” Cover of Trump on Twitter

SOURCE: Kanye West on Wednesday showed off a copy of Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” issue signed by President-elect Donald Trump.

“To Kanye you are a great friend,” read text on the cover, which features a photo of Trump, who received the title this year.

The rapper met with the president-elect Tuesday at Trump Tower. After the meeting, Trump and West appeared together in the building’s lobby but declined to offers details about their meeting.

“Just friends. Just friends,” Trump told reporters when asked about the meeting. “He’s a good man. We’ve been friends for a long time.” When asked what they discussed, Trump said “life.”

E News later reported that West and Trump discussed a potential leadership role during their meeting.

West then tweeted that he went to Trump Tower to talk with the president-elect about “multicultural issues.”

“These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago,” he tweeted.

West made headlines last month when he told the audience at one of his concerts that he didn’t vote, but if he did, he would have cast a ballot for Trump.

Trump was named Time’s “Person of the Year” last week but has repeatedly questioned the title at rallies, including polling his audienceTuesday night on whether he should have been named “Man of the Year” instead.
