adidas put their best foot forward this season with two new editions of the iconic Jeans silhouette and this time coming in a perfect Autumn/Winter colorways and materials.
The ‘Jeans’ trainers were first established in 1979 with a training and running purpose with a traction tread outsole and practical lace-up fastening. The attraction of the trainer was the vibrant suede upper in bright blue, with the luxe gold ‘Jeans’ lettering adorning the side.
In 1982, Adidas gave the trainer a re-vamp and modified the upper and replaced the original traction tread outsole with the trefoil profile for a signature Adidas stamp, a red and navy colorway was also added in 1984.
Because the shoe was so popular, Adidas decided to re-issue the ‘Jeans’ silhouette by high demand. Fast forward to 2016, and Adidas are releasing two distinctive colour-ways which are certain to be a crowd-pleaser for sneaker fans. The first of the colour-ways is core black and orange; featuring a full lace-up fastening and black sleek suede uppers with orange leather overlays to the heel cushion and three stripes. The detailing is also carried to the tongue with the trefoil logo.
The next colorway available is college red and black. The upper is presented in a vibrant college red with contrasting black leather overlays and outsole. Both silhouettes offer durable Gore-Tex technology for maximised protection through the years.
Available to pre-order from Aphrodite1994 from 1st August for expected delivery in September.
