Air Jordan 8 Retro ‘Championship Trophy’ Official Images…

A series that started back in 2014, as a way to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Bullss first NBA Championship, the pack features 2 takes on the Jordan 6 – which of course was the footwear option of choice during the 1991 NBA Finals against the Lakers.

This year marks the 23rd anniversary of the Chicago Bulls’ 1993 NBA Championship – and much like the first pack the follow up will utilize the silhouette Jordan wore against the Phoenix Suns, the Air Jorda 8.  While the Jordan 6 featured kicks inspired by champagne and cigars, this take on the Jordan 8 takes its cues from the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy and features a light bone upper with gold accents and Jordan fingerprint details.

The finger prints throughout the gold symbolize the moment of His Airness’ teammates passing around the Larry O’Brien trophy in celebration. Hidden under the cross-straps, lies a triumphant message: “WORLD CHAMPIONS” and “AGAIN AND AGAIN”.
