Footlocker is Changing the Way we Cop Kicks

As any sneakerhead can attest to, gone are the days of just walking in to your local mom and pop and picking up your pair without any stress or worrying about your size being in stock.

Now-a-days that is as far from the truth as it gets. Waking up at 7am, waiting on twitter, staying logged in to your favorite site + paypal are all steps we take every Saturday morning.  Sometimes you cop, most times you lose out the Jimmy with the bots.

With Footlockers new App Launch Reservation system, all of this may (or may not) be a thing of the past.

“Through the latest App update, the Launch Locator feature allows you to easily identify and follow launch procedures at the store of your choice. The new App Launch Reservation option now allows you to select styles through the App. If available, choose up to three stores where the App procedure applies, then select your size to start your countdown clock. When your countdown clock expires, you’ll be notified via the App of the outcome of your submission.”

Currently the update has only been rolled out in select cities, but should be available nationwide before the end of summer.
