One of the brands most appreciated silhouettes – the New Balance 990 was first introduced way back in 1978, and would go on to be one of the most recognized kicks in the brands history. Now the Boston based brand is paying tribute to the classic with the New Balance Made 1978.
Inspired by the original 990 concepts, but with a more modern twist – the Made 1978 feature a three piece premium suede and leather upper, with a series of varying perforated details throughout the build. Just like the original 990s, the MADE 1978 uses a Vibram sole for a combination of lightweight and durability.
The New Balance MADE 1978 is scheduled to release on March 18 for $150 at New Balance and other select retailers.
